Removal of a dam and morphological restoration of a watercourse, including the creation of related infrastructure to preserve aquatic habitats and uses.

Leveling the weir required the removal and storage of 4,615 m³ of topsoil, with the excess material being hauled away. The riverbank was stabilized using riprap consisting of 280 m³ of boulders—some of which were salvaged from the old weir—and 460 m³ of gravel added to the low-water channel.

Upstream of the Rudivet, 170 cubic meters of boulders were placed to serve as an erosion control measure and to protect the riverbank. The Rudivet stream was reconnected to its original channel, and its meanders were restored.

A gravity-fed water intake was constructed to supply the ornamental pond in front of the mill. The dry-stone wall of the mill canal was restored.

To compensate for the closure of the drainage channel, a collection well equipped with a wind-powered pumping system and four water troughs were installed to supply water to the livestock. Two footbridges and a vehicle access bridge complete the site’s infrastructure.
