Morvan Regional Nature Park
Objective: To raise public awareness of the importance of preserving peatlands by providing safe access to this site of critical ecological importance.
Work began with the dismantling and removal of the existing structure. The wooden components for the new trail were transported by helicopter due to limited access to the site.
The new 440-meter-long, 150-centimeter-wide boardwalk was constructed using a framework of acacia piles and crossbeams, followed by the installation of oak joists, decking, and wheel guards, also made of oak.
The layout includes four standing platforms and two 12-square-meter platforms to create observation and rest areas along the route.
