Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park
Site preparation involved clearing 10,000 square meters of trees and shrubs, followed by stump grinding and the removal of snags and fallen trees.
The stream restoration over a 250-meter stretch was carried out in two stages: first, a narrow bucket was used to excavate the new channel, followed by a second pass with a tilt-rotator to shape gently sloping banks. The old channel and drains were backfilled with 750 m³ of material, and spruce fascines were installed.
The raising of the outlet, carried out after the area was drained, required backfilling the realigned riverbed upstream over a length of 80 meters and the construction of a reinforced structure using steel sheet piles. The final design includes 30 m³ of coarse material and 10 m³ of alluvial boulders to stabilize and diversify the flow.
