Work began with preliminary clearing, which involved manually felling trees and grinding down the stumps, followed by the removal of woody vegetation and the shredding of herbaceous vegetation.
The realignment of the future riverbed, covering a volume of 40 m³, was carried out by constructing a foundation slab and installing rustic retaining walls to structure the watercourse. The realigned riverbed was then backfilled with 253 m³ of material sourced from the site.
Triple-layered panels were installed to seal the drains. A slight adjustment to the floodplain eliminated the drainage effect, while a main plug, installed prior to the breach, raised the low-water level by 70 cm, thereby restoring the marsh to its original level.
Additional work: Supply and installation of a culvert on the forest access road.
